Being the winner of the 18Districts Amateur Singing Contest in Hong Kong in the year 1984, Jackybegan his long lasting career. Since then Jacky has received over 400music awards and over 150 movie and other awards.
In addition,he has received "The Best Selling Chinese Singer Award" and "The MostPopular Hong Kong Male Artist Worldwide" many times throughout hiscareer. Jacky is also recognized in China and Taiwan where he won "TheMost Popular Male Singer of the HKSAR Award" and "The Best Singing Idolof the Top Ten Idol In Taiwan". He was also acknowledged in the Stateswhere he received "The Certificate of "Jacky Cheung's Day" (29 October)in San Francisco".
